Bailey-Boushay House

People come to Bailey-Boushay House, in Seattle, with a host of challenges. Most have HIV/AIDS. Some are destitute, homeless or alone. Others have mental illness or chemical dependencies. A few are near death.

Sean Humphrey House

Sean Humphrey House is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Bellingham, Washington whose mission is to optimize the quality of life for low-income individuals living with HIV/AIDS, who may also suffer from other diseases and disabilities, and who are unable to live independently.

TPC Affordable Housing Consortium

Formed in 2001, the Tacoma Pierce County Affordable Housing Consortium is a nonprofit organization comprised of housing providers, lenders, and others who work in Pierce County to provide a unified voice for affordable housing in our community.

National AIDS Housing Coalition

Since NAHC was founded in 1993, its coalition of national and community-based organizations and individuals provides strong advocacy, representation, and training for thousands of consumers, community leaders, and social service/health providers.

TPC Coalition to End Homelessness

The Tacoma-Pierce County Coalition for the Homeless is an association of emergency housing providers, service providers, community leaders, and other interested persons who are concerned about addressing the emergency, transitional and permanent housing needs of the homeless. Our mission is to preserve and create affordable housing, prevent homelessness, restore homeless persons to stable living environments, and promote community awareness of homelessness issues through education, legislative advocacy, mutual support, and the sharing of resources.

Associated Ministries of Tacoma

​Associated Ministries is an organization that works with interfaith partners who are deeply engaged in transforming our communities. We work together toward lasting solutions to homelessness.  As a crossroad for communication and cooperation, we engage and equip faith communities and persons of good will to address the many needs in Pierce County through advocacy, education, and service.

Pierce County Aging and Disability Resources

​The Aging and Disability Resources Program offers a wide range of community-based services that allow older adults and adults with disabilities to remain at home as long as possible. These services address the needs of frail, older and functionally disabled adults living in Pierce County.

​Lifelong AIDS Alliance is a non-profit organization in Capitol Hill in Seattle which provides care services to local people living with HIV or AIDS and which does advocacy for HIV-related legal issues in the state government.

REACH Ministries

​REACH fosters safe community for children, families, and young adults affected by HIV, strengthening them to grow in hope and purpose through tangible expressions of God’s love.

​Community Health Care is a Patient Centered Medical Home for your entire family. Their patients have their own health care team that uses a whole care approach which identifies your medical, dental and specialty needs.

LGBT RESOURCES

Pride Foundation 

​Pride Foundation is a regional community foundation serving the Northwest region of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington. We envision a world in which all LGBTQ youth, adults, and families enjoy the freedom to live safely, openly, and genuinely.

Rainbow Center

Through education, advocacy, and celebration, the Rainbow Center expands resources and safe space for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and allied (LGBTQA) community.

Oasis Youth Center

​Oasis Youth Center is the only drop-in and support center dedicated to the needs of LGBTQ youth ages 11-24 in Pierce County. Oasis is committed to creating a safe, affirming space for LGBTQ youth to be proud of who they are with the encouragement they need to become healthy, productive and fully participating members of the community. Supported by a team of dozens of staff and volunteers, Oasis offers an amazing array of activities to more than 500 youth annually.

Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department (TPCHD) HIV/STD Department offers appointment-based HIV/STD Testing. Call 253-649-1418 to book an appointment. The HIV/STD Department offers rapid HIV testing with same day results.
